The acmt.024 ISO 20022 Message represents an Identification Verification Report. It is used in interbank payments to answer whether the information provided in an Account Identification Request is correct or not.

acmt.024 ISO 20022 Message: Content

The acmt.024 message is in XML format and is used as part of the ISO 20022 standard in interbank payments to provide feedback on a previously sent Identification Verification Request (acmt.023 ISO 20022 Message). This message is divided into three blocks. One block, Assignment, is required and occurs once, while the second, Original Assignment, also occurs once but is not required.

The essential component within the acmt.024 message is the Report block, which can occur several times and is required. This block contains an attribute called Reason, which consists of two attributes. One of them is Code, which states why the information passed is either correct or incorrect; the second attribute is called Proprietary, which represents the reason in a proprietary form. More detailed information about these schemes can be found in the definitions of the ISO 20022 Standard.
